What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Advisor/Writer position at VanCampen Motors?
VanCampen Motors offers proven advancement opportunities with decades of success. Our environment is full of young and energetic personnel. Each advisor works together to assist all of our customers. Our day is fast paced and can be a lot of fun. Shop has between 6-8 techs and all have lots of experience. Pay is commission with a guarantee and current and past advisors make between 45,000 and 70,000 with room for more.
Responsibilities for Service Advisor/Writer include but are not limited to:
- Assist Customers with any inquiries or concerns they may have.
- Complete a check in with the customers
- Present a menu of available services
- Dispatch work to correct techs
- Answer phones for the service department
- Keep customer informed on completion times, service expenses, and possible changes.
- Service Advisors remain involved with delivery of vehicle to customer upon completion to assure all customer concerns can be addressed.
- Build quotes and provide them to the customer
- Know the product well enough to answer characteristic and operational questions regarding the customer’s vehicle.
