We are seeking a CDL Truck Driver to join our team. This full-time, year-round position plays a critical role in delivering our asphalt emulsions and sealers to customers efficiently and safely. Drivers in this role primarily complete regional hauls with occasional overnight trips while adhering to all DOT regulations. Essential Job Functions
- Perform mostly regional driving with occasional overnight trips
- Ensure timely and safe delivery of bulk asphalt emulsions and sealers
- Operate and maintain company-provided late-model Mack Anthem trucks
- Utilize the Electronic Logging Device (ELD) system to maintain accurate driving records per DOT standards
- Maintain appropriate licensing and certifications, including tanker endorsement (Hazmat preferred)
- Uphold all DOT regulations and company policies while on the road
- Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams to ensure seamless delivery operations
Qualifications And Education Requirements
- Proven tractor-trailer driving experience
- Ability to drive interstate routes
- Required: Tanker endorsement
- Preferred: Hazmat endorsement
- High School Diploma or GED
- Clean and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- Must pass a DOT drug test
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods while driving
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs when necessary
- Ability to climb in and out of trucks and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to operate controls safely
