We're looking for a full-time licensed independent clinical Social Workers (LICSW / LCSW) or licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHC) to join our Adult Medicine Department at our locations in Washington and Oregon. Our Adult Medicine Department treats a senior population with most patients being over 65 years of age.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing evidence-based psychosocial treatment and brief behavioral interventions in collaboration with a primary care team and Mental Health Department.
Basic requirements :
- Current unrestricted license as a LICSW / LCSW, or LMHC in Washington and / or Oregon or ability to obtain LICSW / LCSW, or LMHC licensure. Dual licensure in both OR and WA will be required
- Candidate must reside in either OR or WA to be eligible for remote work
- Minimum of one year post licensure experience in treating common mental health disorders and substance abuse disorders
- Ability to engage patients in a therapeutic relationship
- Emphasis on providing individual therapy while offering care coordination, care planning and referral to community resources as needed
