Clinician Compensation Analyst Sr.

The Sr. Clinician Compensation Analyst is responsible for analytical oversight of clinician payroll processing and the execution of established compensation plans. The Senior Analyst will work in conjunction with the Compensation Administration Team (CAT) to assure that clinician payroll is calculated correctly using approved models on an ongoing basis. Confirms clinician compensation models are reasonable, consistent with fair market value, and meet federal and state requirements. Develop tools and metrics to monitor the performance of clinician compensation models. Proactively identify and rectify inconsistencies.

Essential Functions And Responsibilities

  • This role will ensure that the models' technical design is compliant with FMV guidelines, internally equitable, and that the model structurally performs properly and consistently
  • This role will partner with external consultants and internal leaders to understand the market trends, technology solutions, and processes to develop a best-in-class compensation administration function
  • Responsible for maintenance and documentation of Heisenberg II (H2) clinician compensation tool
  • Responsible for the development and distribution of physician and advanced practice clinician productivity reports and other tools for use by the providers and departmental leadership
  • Serves as a consultant/subject matter expert to Vancouver Clinic on clinician compensation and ensures that decisions are in alignment with the organization's total rewards philosophy and business strategy
  • Participates in the analysis of benchmark data, conversion factor and other required elements
  • Responsible for working efficiently and effectively with recruiting, medical affairs, HR, and payroll departments
  • Collaborates with budgeting team regarding clinician compensation

Education And Experience

  • Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, economics, healthcare administration, or business-related field required. Master's degree preferred.
  • A minimum of four years' related experience in compensation analysis required.
  • Direct experience in clinician compensation strongly preferred.
  • Expertise in data analysis and statistical methodologies.
  • Experience with multi-site medical groups and/or health systems preferred.
  • Working knowledge of regulatory landscape related to clinician compensation.
  • Working knowledge of HR principles and practices.

Pay Range

$93,850.00 - $140,775.00

We offer a competitive Total Rewards Program. Eligibility for benefits is dependent on factors such as position type and FTE. Benefit-eligible employees qualify for benefits beginning on the first of the month following one month of employment. Vancouver Clinic offers medical, dental, vision, life insurance, AD&D, long term disability, health savings account, flexible spending account, employee assistance program, and multiple supplemental benefits (voluntary life, critical illness, accident, hospital indemnity, identity theft protection, legal services, etc.). We also offer a 401k retirement plan, with employer contributions after your first year of employment. Benefits-eligible employees accrue PTO and Personal Time based on hours worked and State worked, totaling 120 hours in the first year for full time staff and 200 hours in the first year for full time supervisors and above, increasing in subsequent years. PTO and Personal Time accruals are pro-rated by FTE/hours worked. Non-benefits eligible employees will accrue Personal Time based on hours worked and State worked.
