Unique opportunity to join our Cardiology team as a full-time Device Nurse We are seeking a Device Nurse to join our interdisciplinary team of technical device experts.
In this role, you will provide exceptional care for patients with cardiovascular implantable electronic devices, including pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators, and implantable loop recorders.
Hiring range is between $43.60-$52.50 per hour, and placement in the range is based on an evaluation of experience.
Monday through Friday 8 : 00a-5 : 00p. Key Responsibilities :
- Coordinate care for high-acuity patients based on provider orders, community resources, and patient preferences.
- Prioritize patient needs through thorough nursing assessment and resource management.
- Obtain and review all pertinent patient information before consultations, including history, medications, labs, and diagnostics.
- Leverage knowledge of local resources to address patients' health care needs.
- Conduct follow-up and routine nurse visits to ensure continuity of care.
- Collaborate with providers for same-day resolution of high-priority patient issues.
- Educate patients and families about health care needs, offering personalized guidance and arranging formal classes as needed. Required qualifications :
- Active unencumbered Washington RN license and / or meeting the requirements of multi-state licensure required ( Active Washington license within 60 days of hire or transfer if use multi-state licensure required ).
- Minimum three years of experience as a registered nurse required
- Experience managing or working in cardiac device and with device programming strongly preferred
- Current Health Care Provider BLS CPR certification required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required (or must obtain within 90 days of hire) Pay Range : $39.83 - $59.75 The above information is intended to indicate the general nature and level of work required in this position.

Eligibility for benefits is dependent on factors such as position type and FTE.

Benefits-eligible employees accrue PTO and Personal Time based on hours worked and State worked, totaling 120 hours in the first year for full time staff and 200 hours in the first year for full time supervisors and above, increasing in subsequent years.
PTO and Personal Time accruals are pro-rated by FTE / hours worked.
Non-benefits eligible employees will accrue Personal Time based on hours worked and State worked.
Employees will also enjoy up to six paid holidays per year, depending on schedule.
