The IS System Administration Supervisor oversees the Vancouver Clinic's system administrators ensuring that systems, services, and infrastructure work reliably and securely.
This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to supervise a team of system administrators.
The supervisor plays a crucial role in maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure and implementing IT policies and procedures.
IS System Administration Supervisor collaborates with IS and non-IS groups on the design, deployment, and administration of new and existing technology services. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Provide leadership and guidance to the system administrator team.
Manage performance, conduct evaluations, and support professional development.
Ensure systems are up-to-date, secure, and running efficiently.

Eligibility for benefits is dependent on factors such as position type and FTE.
Benefit-eligible employees qualify for benefits beginning on the first of the month following one month of employment.

Benefits-eligible employees accrue PTO and Personal Time based on hours worked and State worked, totaling 120 hours in the first year for full time staff and 200 hours in the first year for full time supervisors and above, increasing in subsequent years.
PTO and Personal Time accruals are pro-rated by FTE / hours worked.
Non-benefits eligible employees will accrue Personal Time based on hours worked and State worked.
Employees will also enjoy up to six paid holidays per year, depending on schedule.
