What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical Trainer - Epic Applications position at Vancouver Clinic?
The Technical Trainer will develop and implement training programs associated with, but not limited to, Epic applications.
Primarily responsible for the delivery of training content to a variety of audiences at Vancouver Clinic including front line staff, leadership, and providers.
Provide instructional design and curriculum development as needed to ensure accuracy. Schedule : Generally Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm, may vary at times to accommodate meetings and classes.
Will occasionally require some weekend work for upgrades, etc.
Most classes are on site at our Administration building. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or Adult Learning Theory preferred.
Will consider equivalent combination of education and / or work experience.
You will deliver training across various skill levels, ensuring accuracy, comprehension, and effectiveness.
Responsibilities include collaborating with Principal Trainers to develop training programs, collecting feedback, identifying training gaps, and providing refresher sessions.
You will track and evaluate training progress through a Learning Management System (LMS), prepare materials, set up training environments, and address any classroom questions.
Additional tasks include supporting go-live sessions, updating training content, and maintaining training records and schedules.
Site support duties may also be required for go-live updates. SKILLS AND ABILITIES :

PTO and Personal Time accruals are pro-rated by FTE / hours worked.
Non-benefits eligible employees will accrue Personal Time based on hours worked and State worked.
Employees will also enjoy up to six paid holidays per year, depending on schedule.
