Council for the Homeless is looking for an Annual Giving and Events Manager to drive fundraising efforts and plan impactful events that support our mission to end homelessness in Clark County.

Your skills and experience will contribute to our mission as you:
- Lead Annual Giving Campaigns – Develop and execute strategies to engage new and existing donors through direct mail, digital campaigns (including Give More 24), and donor appeals.
- Plan & Manage Fundraising Events – Oversee donor appreciation events, community gatherings, and key initiatives like Project Homeless Connect and Homeless Persons Memorial Day.
- Cultivate Donor Relationships – Build meaningful connections with donors, sponsors, and stakeholders, ensuring strong engagement and retention.
- Collaborate with Communications & Leadership Teams – Craft compelling donor messaging and event promotions using storytelling and key data points.
- Track Fundraising Performance – Monitor donations, analyze campaign effectiveness, and ensure financial goals are met.
Pay and Benefits
- The starting salary for this position is $32.70 per hour. In compliance with the Equal Pay & Opportunities Act, the full salary range for this position is $32.70 - $42.41 per hour.
- Bi-lingual pay differential.
- Full-time, exempt position. May be required to work a few hours on weekends and holidays when needed.
- 100% employer-paid medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance for the employee only.
- Benefits package also includes 9.11% paid into WA PERS by employer, 12 company paid holidays, and generous paid time off and separate sick time accrual.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or certification in Nonprofit Fundraising, Nonprofit Management, Certification in Fundraising Excellence, or related field; can be substituted by work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in fundraising, annual giving, and event management, preferably in a nonprofit environment.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and growing annual giving campaigns and special events.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on donor stewardship.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, volunteers, and external partners.
- Knowledge of donor management software and event planning tools.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, for events as needed.
- Valid driver’s license and access to automobile required.
Education/Experience Preferred
- Experience with Bloomerang donor software, Greater Giving, Constant Contact, WordPress.
- Experience working with boards of directors and business community.
- Knowledge of local philanthropic community and potential sponsors.
