What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recreation Assistant position at Vancouver Public Schools?
Temporary, part-time, on-call position which will not exceed 19 hours per week.

Qualifications :
- Minimum 16 years of age
- Completion of in-district climbing course required, outside Belay certification considered
- Knowledge demonstrating ability to help facilitate group events in the gym, including wall climbing
- Ability to lead gym games as needed for private parties and camps
- Experience which demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills and a team player attitude

Benefits / Compensation :
Salary range : New employees will start at the minimum hourly rate in the salary range. However, employees who have verified prior years of service in a similar occupational status from other Washington School Districts or Education School Districts, may receive experience credit towards salary placement. Salary schedules can be accessed here.
