Dietary Manager Position Responsibilities:- Understands importance of dietary impact on CARE and patient outcomes; specifically in collaboration with Dietician Services
- Orients patients to dining operations and obtain patient preferences for positive dining experience
- Plans and coordinates day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including cooking, staffing & food/supply ordering
- Self-directed in organization and prioritization of tasks.
- Maintain Compliance with Local, State, Federal Regulations
- Meal Planning, Cooking, Ordering
- Staffing of Dietary Department
- Manage Dietary Budget
Preferred areas of experience:- Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or a willingness to obtain certification in a timely manner
- ServSafe certification or a willingness to obtain certification in a timely manner
- Long Term Care or Health Care Dietary experience
- Prior experience in food service
