Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Parts Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in supporting our operations by ensuring the availability and accuracy of parts inventory. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. As a Parts Specialist, you will play a crucial role in order fulfillment and inventory control, contributing to the overall success of our dealership.
Duties
- Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock of automotive parts.
- Utilize retail math skills to analyze sales trends and forecast future needs.
- Process orders efficiently, ensuring timely fulfillment and accuracy.
- Assist customers in identifying the correct parts for their vehicles, providing expert advice when necessary.
- Maintain organized records of parts transactions and inventory changes using Excel.
- Collaborate with service technicians to support their parts requirements for repairs.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to maintain accurate stock counts.
- Provide multilingual support to enhance communication with diverse customer bases when applicable.
Experience
- Previous experience in a parts department or dealership environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with automotive repair processes and terminology is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Excel and other inventory management software is beneficial.
- Experience in sales or customer service roles will be an advantage.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing customer interaction and service delivery.
