The Sales Coordinator at Vande Hey Company, Inc. plays a crucial role as the first point of contact for customers, ensuring a seamless and satisfying experience from initial inquiry to completion. This position requires relationship-building, organizational and coordination skills, and involves collaborating with clients and internal teams from various departments including Production, Sales, Maintenance, Design, Retail, Operations, and Administration. The ideal candidate is passionate about customer service and enjoys connecting customers with the right resources to meet their needs, ultimately contributing to the growth and success of the company.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Customer Interaction: Serve as the initial point of contact for customers, providing information about products and services.
- Sales Process Explanation: Clearly explain the sales process to customers, ensuring they understand each step.
- Needs Assessment: Determine customer needs and connect them with the appropriate personnel within the organization to address those needs.
- Appointment Scheduling: Schedule all client appointments for sales consultants and ensure timely follow-up.
- Customer Experience Champion: Advocate for the customer experience, ensuring every customer interaction results in a five-star rating. Aid as support for client concerns as needed; work proactively to eliminate future similar client concerns
- Follow-Up: Maintain regular follow-up with customers to ensure their needs are met and they are satisfied with the service provided.
- Data Entry, Maintenance, and Analysis: Ensure accurate, timely, and thorough data entry and maintenance of customer information and interactions in the CRM system. Provide support and guidance to internal teams to achieve sales and performance targets; prompt accountable team members to ensure tasks are completed on time and as planned.
- Lead Generation, Reporting, and Analysis: Generate lead lists, analyze sales data, and provide support to the sales team to set, monitor, and meet sales goals and metrics. Provide support and guidance to the marketing team for reporting and analysis of sales data from the CRM system.
- Service Orientation: Be service-oriented and enjoy connecting customers with the right resources within the Vande Hey company to meet their needs.
- Team Collaboration: Work as part of a team to support sales consultants and other departments, ensuring a cohesive and efficient workflow.
- Sales Support: Assist other portions of the sales team as needed, including retail operations utilizing a cash register to ring up customers, collecting customer payments over the phone or in person and processing payments, and participating in customer events including evening and weekend events as needed throughout the year.
KEY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Three or more years of sales and/or marketing experience.

- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and other sales-related software.

PHISICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Sitting: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Standing and Walking: Occasionally required to stand and walk.
