Elementary Music Teacher
Vanderbilt Area Schools is seeking a passionate and qualified Elementary Music Teacher to join our dedicated team. As the Elementary Music Teacher, you will play a vital role in fostering a love for music in our students and helping them develop their musical talents.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a focus on music or a related field.
· Valid teaching certification for elementary education.
· Demonstrated proficiency in music education and curriculum development.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment for students.
Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement a comprehensive music education program for elementary students.
· Teach music theory, history, and practical skills in a manner that is accessible and enjoyable for young learners.
· Organize and conduct school performances, concerts, and other musical events.
· Collaborate with other educators to integrate music into cross-disciplinary lessons.
· Assess and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
