The Department of Anesthesiology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center is seeking Staff Anesthesiologists to support Vanderbilt Wilson County Hospital, a 245-bed facility located just 30 miles east of Nashville in Lebanon, TN.
As an attending anesthesiologist, you will have direct responsibility for patient care and work alongside an existing group of three experienced anesthesiologists.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administering general or regional anesthesia through spinal, intravenous, inhalational, caudal, or local methods.
- Determining when patients are stable enough to be moved after surgery.
- Supervising certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNAs).
- Monitoring and managing patient conditions post-procedure, including pain management.
- Directly providing anesthesia services.
- Caring for a wide range of patients, from simple pediatric cases to complex procedures involving patients as young as 1 year old.

Basic Qualifications:
- Licensed Medical Doctor in the state of Tennessee.
- DEA License
- Doctorate or PhD in Medicine (or equivalent experience).
- Fellowship training in anesthesiology subspecialty (desirable but not required).
