About the Responsibilities
This position is responsible for directing contracted wait staff, hourly union employees, and student employees. The Event Coordinator Manager will oversee all catering operations, train staff, prepare daily pull sheets, assist with event set up and breakdown, and ensure the successful execution of all catered events.
The ideal candidate will have excellent supervisory and interpersonal skills and be able to manage people, maintain confidentiality, and be accountable for Vanderbilt assets.
- Maintains appropriate documentation of events to ensure compliance with Vanderbilt Catering policies and procedures.
- Trains and supervises contracted wait staff and Campus Dining hourly union employees and student employees.
