This part-time clinical supervisor position is part of the Mood, Emotion, and Development Lab housed in the Department of Psychology and Human Development at Peabody College at Vanderbilt University.
The responsibilities include training and supervising graduate students administering diagnostic interviews, implementing safety protocols when suicidal thoughts and behaviors are endorsed by participants, overseeing mandated reporting requirements, and being on call to respond to safety alerts as needed.

This is a part-time role (approximately 10 hours per week) with a flexible work schedule and most tasks can be completed remotely.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Train and supervise students and staff administering diagnostic, stress, and suicidality interviews to child, adolescent, and adult research participants.
- Oversee lab implementation of safety protocols for responding to suicidal thoughts and behaviors and mandated reporting requirements.
Supervisory Relationships
This position has supervisory responsibility over graduate student and staff interviewers.
Qualifications
- A master's degree in a clinically oriented mental health discipline is required.
- A Ph.D. in clinical psychology is preferred.
- Clinical experience with children and adolescents is required.
- Experience with semi-structured diagnostic interviews is required.
- Experience implementing safety protocols to respond to suicidal thoughts and behaviors is preferred.
- Experience training and supervising others is preferred.
