Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the lead in regulatory inspections related to radiation and laser safety.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with university research faculty, staff, and students, as well as federal, state, and local agencies with vested interests in EHSS or environmental protection issues.
- Lead the implementation and adoption of EHS Assist software system related to laboratory safety.
- Ensure effective training modules are assigned to appropriate VU faculty, staff, and students, tracking completion data and reporting results appropriately.
