Residential Officer

Job Summary
The Residential Security Officer plays a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of residential properties. This position involves monitoring premises, preventing loss, and ensuring a secure environment for residents. The ideal candidate will possess strong observational skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations.

Duties

• Conduct searches and drug screens
• Monitor surveillance equipment and conduct regular patrols of the property to ensure security.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences.
• Provide first aid and CPR assistance when necessary, ensuring the well-being of residents.
• Collaborate with law enforcement when required, providing necessary information and support during investigations.
• Manage conflicts effectively, utilizing conflict resolution techniques to de-escalate tense situations.
• Ensure all security protocols are followed, including proper use of CCTV systems and other surveillance equipment.

Requirements.

• Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and conflict management strategies.
• Ability to operate surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems.
• Strong observational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with residents and law enforcement personnel.
• Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $21.16 - $31.60 per hour
