Data Analyst:
Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join their central planning team. This role focuses on automating team data processes, moving data from Excel to Snowflake, and supporting retail metrics and reporting needs. The ideal candidate will have strong technical and retail planning experience to contribute to the team’s ongoing success.
This role is a hybrid role in Beaverton, Oregon.
Data Analyst Responsibilities:
- Drive centralized processes and automation for the APLA Central Planning team.
- Support forecast consolidation of Geo and Territory Merch Financial Planning (MFP) tools.
- Develop and maintain reporting and enablement capabilities for Enterprise Business Planning (EBP), Geo DSM, and Marketplace functions.
- Conduct data validation to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Create compelling data visualizations and PowerPoint decks to present insights.
- Combine forecast files and build charts and reports to support business decisions.
Data Analyst Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience working with Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas and VBA.
- Proven experience reconciling retail metrics and working with Merch Financial Planning (MFP) tools.
- Hands-on experience with data automation and reporting processes.
- Familiarity with EBP tools and workflows.
- Strong understanding of retail acumen, particularly within retail planning.
- Excellent PowerPoint skills for data visualization and executive-level presentations.
Preferred:
- Experience conducting data accuracy checks and pulling business reports from Excel.
- Exposure to Tableau or coding languages such as SQL, Python, Java, or R.
- Background in retail, specifically using internal MFP tools.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA) or related field with experience coding in Excel or Access.
