Finance Manager
Our client is seeking a dedicated Finance Manager to join their team! The ideal candidate has experience with government-related budgeting and forecasting, financial analysis, and audits. Those who are available to start immediately are strongly encouraged to apply!
This role is 100% onsite in McMinnville, Oregon.
Finance Manager Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage annual budgets, financial reports, and audits.
- Create forecasting models and conduct financial analysis for operating and capital funds.
- Processes accounts payable functions, including data entry, document preparation, check issuance, and reconciliations.
- Maintains accounting records, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
- Support continuous improvements of internal controls and procurement activities/policies.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting.
Finance Manager Qualifications:
- Must have government budgeting and forecasting experience.
- At least 3 years of progressive accounting experience; exposure to public accounting a plus.
- Strong knowledge of general accounting, AP, budgeting, and forecasting functions.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks and MS Office including strong Excel skills.
- Analytical mindset with strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Salary : $90,000 - $125,000
