Primary Responsibilities
- Administer HR policies, oversee employee services, and lead the HR department, including labor relations and union negotiations.
- Advise management on personnel issues, disciplinary processes, and compliance with federal/state labor laws.
- Manage compensation programs, including job descriptions, wage/salary scales, payroll processing, and benefits administration.
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies, employee training, and orientation programs.
- Ensure effective management of personnel records, audits, and responses to government-related inquiries.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Must be SHRM certified or willing to complete certification.
- At least 5 years of HR Management experience in a healthcare environment.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or similar preferred.
- Prior experience with unions and/or in non-profit sector a plus.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems (ADP or similar preferred) and other relevant software.
- In-depth knowledge of personnel administration practices, management techniques, and program operations.
- Ability to develop strategic plans, communicate effectively, and build strong relationships with management, staff, and the public.
