Our client is looking for a Software Engineer for one of their teams in the supply chain space within AI / ML. They need someone who can lead their technical path forward, work seamlessly with data scientists and engineers, and push code quality and standards. This is primarily a software position, but would prefer someone comfortable working in the ML space as well. Looking for someone with a solid engineering & design background. Must be able to lead, problem solve, set & maintain standards, and help develop technical roadmaps.
This is a remote position.
Lead Software Engineer Responsibilities
- Assesses a well-defined problem and leads the development of a technical solution that meets the needs of the business and aligns with architectural standards.
- Manages small- to moderate-sized solutions, or plays a key role on larger teams, working within the parameters of two to three sprints.
- Provides direction to team members and / or vendors.
- Advises product owners on discrete technology-related business problems; formulates options, including assessing their relative merits and risks; and works with product owners to determine the best solution.
