Marketing Insights Manager Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies for business insights that address organizational needs, reporting opportunities, and data gaps.
- Build and enhance insight functions to improve the utilization of internal tools and syndicated data sources.
- Integrate data from multiple sources to develop a comprehensive understanding of the business landscape, with a focus on emerging trends.
- Oversee the tracking and reporting of market insights to support evolving business needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key business questions and create a prioritized learning agenda.
- Perform in-depth analyses of data sources to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
- Present complex analytical findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Manage stakeholder expectations related to analytics methodologies and project timelines.
- Ensure the accuracy and consistency of all reporting deliverables.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in market analysis, data insights, or analytics.
- Bachelor’s degree in Market Research, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Marketing, or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze diverse data sets and create clear, strategic insights.
- Proficient with syndicated data tools such as Circana (NPD), Euromonitor, or similar.
- Experience identifying research gaps, leveraging data sets, and performing KPI analysis.
- Proven experience in brand health tracking, category insights, or social media analysis.
- Strong communication skills, capable of translating complex data into actionable recommendations.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Ability to manage ambiguity and adapt to agile work environments.
- Preferred experience in footwear, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or beauty industries.
- Familiarity with social listening and marketing measurement techniques.
- Prior experience on both the supplier and brand sides of research and insights.
