Payroll Specialist
Our local Portland area client seeks a reliable Payroll Specialist to support their team! This is an exciting opportunity to get a foot in the door with a well-establish Portland organization that has been around for over 100 years.
- Payroll Specialist ResponsibilitiesProcess payroll twice a month ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and compliance.
- Handle garnishment and adjustments.
- Research and respond to payroll inquiries.
- Maintain data in systems and review for accuracy.
- Assist with tax filings and payroll reports.
- Payroll Specialist QualificationsAt least 2 years year of full-cycle payroll experience.
- Familiarity with GAAP; exposure to union payroll a plus.
- Proficiency with Oracle, SAP, Workday, Dynamics, or similar ERP and able to learn new systems quickly.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Deadline-driven with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
