In this role you will have the opportunity to take a project from the concept phase, to design, fabrication, and finally supervise the installation in the field.This role is onsite in Hillsboro, Oregon.Senior Design Drafter Responsibilities : Create and develop new product designs while adapting existing product lines to meet customer requirements and applications.Work closely with engineering teams to transform rough concepts into detailed, finished designs.Manage projects from initial concept through to design, fabrication, and field installation, ensuring quality and compliance with specifications.Utilize 2D and 3D CAD software (such as AutoCAD, Inventor, or SolidWorks) for drafting and design tasks.Apply expertise in heavy industry sectors, including oil and gas, forestry, mining, material processing, and construction, to deliver effective design solutions.Senior Design Drafter Qualifications : Minimum of 5 years work experience in a drafting or design role.Proficient in both 2D and 3D CAD design and drafting in programs like Autocad, Inventor, or Solidworks.Heavy Industry design experience including but not limited to Oil and Gas Drilling, Forest Products, Mining, Material Processing, Infrastructure and Construction.Fluent in and able to communicate clearly in English.
