Sr. Director - Category Merchandiser
Our client is seeking a Sr. Director - Category Merchandiser to join their team. This role will be pivotal in driving the vision for women's merchandise, focusing on retail and global merchandising strategies.

Sr. Director - Category Merchandiser Responsibilities
- Lead the development of consumer-centric assortment strategies for the women's category, ensuring alignment with the overall brand vision.
- Act as a key partner in building Consumer Right Assortments, focusing on both category and location-specific needs.
- Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to develop product line plans, leveraging consumer insights and market trends.
- Drive the creation of product assortments by working across product engines, keeping the retail perspective in focus.
- Edit and curate the product line, balancing directed assortments and selections from global core products to achieve revenue goals.
- Build strategic assortments that align with category objectives and support retail-focused outcomes.
- Maintain strong cross-regional partnerships, including teams in North America, China, and Europe, to ensure consistency and collaboration.
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in retail or merchandising, preferably at a buyer or director level.
- Demonstrated ability to drive strategic points of view within merchandising and product planning.
- Proficiency with assortment and product line planning software.
- Experience working collaboratively with highly cross-functional teams.
- Strong consumer insight skills, with a proven track record of assortment planning and go-to-market strategies.
- Preferred experience in global merchandising, particularly within the apparel and footwear sectors.
