Transcription Specialist Responsibilities
- Listen to recordings and accurately transcribe them into text files.
- Ensure all transcribed materials adhere to client formatting and notation requirements.
- Review and edit transcriptions for grammar, punctuation, and spelling to ensure accuracy and clarity.
- Address and correct any errors or inaccuracies promptly.
- Deliver completed transcriptions within established deadlines.
- Strong typing skills with the ability to type quickly and accurately while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
- Exceptional verbal communication, active listening, and computer proficiency.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage time effectively.
- Proven ability to collaborate and work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and roles.
