Job Overview
The Finance Intern is part of the broad business controlling team in North America supporting the organization (including but not limited to Sales, Service, Projects, Supply Chain and Factory) of Vanderlande in North America (including USA, Canada and Mexico). The Finance Intern works directly with the responsible managers to help execute the Organization's financial goals and objectives; continuously strive for improvements and based on analysis, recommend actions to improve the accuracy of financial reporting. The Finance Intern will also have the opportunity to assist in global improvement initiatives led by the North America teams.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, support data modeling, cost forecasting and revenue analysis
- Work closely with project manager and provide actionable insights for decision making
- Support the project team with time management, ensuring that calendar deliverables are met
- Report on project progress and assist with weekly presentations to Finance leadership
- Support ongoing efforts on improving collaboration between the North America Financial Shared Service Centre (FSSC) and the North America business controlling team
- Strong analytical thinker with problem-solving skills
- Team player with good communication skills, who can multitask and is an efficient planner
- A self-starter who is focusing on output and tangible results, who is willing to invest in own development and future, in an ambitious and international environment
- Ownership of actions and work product
- Senior undergrad in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance / Economics or graduate student pursuing an advanced degree in a business-related field
- Prior internship or work experience in a business environment
- Course work that includes financial analyses, financial reporting, strategic management
