We have an opening for an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer in our Dynamic Power group in Boston.
Some of your responsibilities include:
- PLC and/or DCS based control system design and engineering,
- Control system component specifications,
- Piping and Instrumentation Diagram interpretation and development,
- Instrumentation selection and specification,
- Interpret panel wiring diagrams and relay logic,
- Coordinate with mechanical and electrical trades,
- Review of System Integrator and equipment submittal drawings,
- Witness factory acceptance tests (FAT),
- Existing system assessment,
- System start–up and commissioning a bonus.
Essential Skills & Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering required
- 5 plus years’ experience preferred
- Proficient in computer use and software including, but not limited to: Excel, Word, Power Point, Project and Access. Capable in AutoCAD.
- Experience with power generation, utilities or building system industries
- Strong analytical ability
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- FE preferred, willingness to obtain PE
