We are seeking a Senior Civil Structural Engineer to join our Long Beach, CA team. You will be working on a variety of multi-discipline projects while leading the structural engineering of buildings, equipment foundations and industrial structures/pipe racks.

You will:
- Apply industry codes and standards in the engineering and design of a wide variety of structure types assuring that tasks are complete, accurate and in accordance with good engineering practice.
- Perform structure and foundation designs including analysis and design of new or expansion of facilities, buildings or structures as well as the evaluation of existing facilities
- Develop concrete and steel construction documents (specifications and drawings) and review structural calculations to confirm they are in conformance with specifications.
- Work closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects and provide additional support to clients and stakeholders
- Provide guidance to team members and participate in client meetings.
- Utilize commercially available software such as L-Pile, RISA 3-D, STAAD Pro, RAM Structural System, and CSI SAFE.
Essential Skills and Background:
- 8 years of related experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Background with practical application of structural engineering including applying principles, techniques, and procedures.
- Modeling structural systems software background
- Familiar with design codes and standards
- Strong knowledge of seismic design principles
- Experience with a variety of structure types and experience with renovations and new construction
- Civil/Structural PE is a plus, registration as an EIT is required

This position in Long Beach, CA has a salary range of $120,000 to $150,000 depending on years of experience, licensure, skill sets and education.
