We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer in our dynamic Alexandria, VA office (Hybrid role.) Our team members are at the center of everything we do. We offer growth and stability in an ever-changing volatile environment.
Some of your responsibilities as a Senior Mechanical Engineer include the following:
- Lead the technical development of HVAC systems for large and complex projects including Government, Science & Technology, Academic, Mission Critical and Commercial sectors.
- Formulate design criteria, perform calculations, develop concept designs, specifications, and construction documents for high performance building systems.
- Develops mechanical plans, specifications, and inspection reports as needed.
- Technically involved in the resolution of design problems that may include performing filed investigation or inspections.
- Knowledge and experience with mechanical calculations, equipment selection, ductwork layout, hydronic systems, and construction documents.
- Attend field visits, develop visit reports, meet with contractors, as necessary.

Essential Skills & Requirements:
- 10 years of designing HVAC systems in high performance facilities.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
- Experience leading HVAC teams on technically challenging projects
- Communication, interpersonal, problem solving and analytical skills
