What are the responsibilities and job description for the Attorney position at VanEngen Law Office, PC?
VanEngen Law Office, PC is expanding and accepting applications to fill two positions for an associate litigation attorney. As an associate attorney at VanEngen Law Office, PC, you will assist other attorneys in representing clients in a variety of practice areas including family law matters, criminal defense, probate and estates, and personal injury and other civil litigation matters.
Duties Of The Associate Attorney Include

Duties Of The Associate Attorney Include
- Legal research and preparation of documents, including but not limited to: motions and briefs, discovery, affidavits, opinion letters, contracts, and agreements.
- Attend hearings/trials.
- Prepare case reports for trial.
- Conduct research to determine facts that may be relevant to litigation matters.
- Provide legal advice to clients.
- Other duties as assigned and dependent upon client needs.
- Must possess Montana bar license and be in good standing by start date of employment. Please note that Montana requires graduation from an American Bar Association accredited law school to be eligible for licensure.
- Must be willing and able to work independently without direct supervision.
- Must have strong work ethic and be highly motivated and dedicated to the clients' needs.
- Ability to perform research into various legal topics.
- Demonstrates strong analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills.
