YOUR DAY AS A CULTIVATION TECHNICIAN 1

As a Cultivation Technician 1 at Vangarden Cannabis, you'll embark on a hands-on journey in the heart of our cultivation team. Under the guidance of the Cultivation Supervisor, you'll engage in a diverse array of routine tasks essential to our cultivation areas, following formal training on department-specific procedures. Your responsibilities will include cleaning, transplanting, pruning, harvesting, and monitoring plant health conditions while adhering to company and state regulations. You'll play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and organized workspace and will be responsible for reporting any equipment issues promptly. Additionally, you'll collaborate closely with your team to ensure the highest standards of plant care and sustainability are met, all while embodying our company's mission and values.

Candidates must be able to work in hot, humid environments and adhere to strict standard operating procedures. You should be comfortable utilizing aerial lifts and ladders safely after training and have the capability to oversee teams of five or more. Effective communication with peers and management is vital, emphasizing kindness and respect. Adaptability is essential as priorities in a growing startup may shift. Additionally, physical requirements include the ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform various manual tasks efficiently, all while maintaining balance and coordination.
