Description
Our packaging team is responsible for weighing and packaging all flower that is distributed to our stores. A Packager is responsible for weighing flower products, labeling product containers, operating packaging machinery, and stocking packaging materials. Attention to detail is highly important. The ideal candidate will excel as an individual and as a team member while operating under tight timelines and working with a highly controlled, state-regulated system.
Responsibilities:
· Weigh multiple weights of product efficiently.
· Label product containers appropriately and efficiently.
· Operate packaging machine when instructed.
· Prepare product when instructed.
· Stock packaging materials daily.
· Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
· Able and willing to stand or sit for 8 hours/daily.
· Able and willing to lift 30 pounds.
· Experience handling products.
· Applicants must have a valid OLCC Marijuana Workers Permit.
· Reliable transportation is required.
Desired Skills:
· Effective time management.
· Experience weighing products.
· Experience or ability to detect deficiencies in products, such as; mold, seeds, and insects.
· Willingness to execute repetitive tasks.
· Attention to detail.
· Experience with machine operation.
· Maintain an organized workstation.
· Effective communication.
