Key Responsibilities:
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, workstations, and surfaces daily.
- Adhere to cleaning schedules to comply with food safety regulations and company standards.
- Properly handle and dispose of waste, recycling, and compost.
- Maintain cleaning logs in compliance with health and safety requirements.
- Operate and maintain dishwashing and sanitation equipment safely and efficiently.
- Monitor cleaning supply inventory and notify the team when restocking is needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a safe, clean, and organized facility.
- Valid Food Handler’s Permit (required).
- Previous experience in sanitation, preferably in a food production or kitchen setting.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices (HACCP and GMP knowledge is a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in temperature-controlled environments.
