The Opportunity : We are looking for a Certified Medical Assistant Level 3 to join our team on a full-time basis. This advanced role requires 40 hours per week, including some evening shifts and rotating weekend shifts. The compensation for this position ranges from $20.00 to $24.00 per hour, depending on experience. Vanguard offers a $2 shift differential for weekday hours worked after 6 : 00pm and all weekend hours.
Responsibilities : As a Certified Medical Assistant III at Vanguard Medical Group, you will be an essential leader in our patient-centered care team. In addition to the responsibilities of a Certified Medical Assistant, your role will include :
- Comprehensive Medical Assistant Responsibilities : Perform general Medical Assistant duties, including patient preparation, vital sign measurement, record-keeping, and equipment management, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Patient Care Coordination : Lead the coordination of patient care, ensuring a seamless and efficient healthcare experience for our patients.
- Medication Management Expertise : Administer a wide range of medications, including injections, intravenous medications, and specialty medications, with the highest level of expertise and precision.
- Advanced Procedures : Assist providers in advanced medical procedures, such as complex surgical procedures, advanced diagnostic testing, and interventional treatments.
- Quality Improvement Champion : Take a proactive role in quality improvement initiatives, using your expertise to identify opportunities for process enhancement and patient care optimization.
- Referral and Insurance Expert : Handle complex billing information, insurance forms, and referrals, managing intricate cases and ensuring patients receive the necessary specialized care.
- Patient Advocate : Serve as an advocate for patients, providing guidance and support during their healthcare journey.
- Mentorship and Training : Mentor and train Level 1 and Level 2 Certified Medical Assistants, sharing your expertise and knowledge to enhance the team's capabilities.
- Leadership : Assume a leadership role within the clinical team, guiding and motivating fellow team members to achieve the highest standards of patient care.
