Woodbridge Medical Associates in partnership with Vanguard Health Solutions* is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join our team of physicians.
Woodbridge Medical Associates is a private primary care practice that has been serving the Woodbridge community since 1954.
To be qualified for this position, you are required to have a master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program, a valid New Jersey Nurse Practitioner license, and prior post graduate Nurse Practitioner experience.
Your schedule will be Monday to Friday with rotating evening and weekend on-call phone coverage. We offer a competitive salary, and a benefits package that includes paid time off, health insurance, malpractice insurance, 401 (k), and a continuing education expense.
Nurse Practitioner Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments, including physical exams and medical histories.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work and imaging.
- Prescribe medication as needed.
- Provide patient education and counseling on health promotion and disease prevention.
Nurse Practitioner Qualifications:
- Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Valid New Jersey APN license.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Two years post graduate experience in a Primary Care practice.
- Will consider a recent graduate with prior professional experience in a Primary Care practice as a Scribe or MA.
