(VRI) is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team on the 2nd shift 4x10 schedule) at Olathe Medical Center in Olathe, KS. This is a full-time opportunity with great pay, benefits, and room to grow!

Starting Pay:

• $28 per hour for Skilled Trades with potential Bonus Opportunities (experienced)
• $23 per hour with potential Bonus Opportunities (1-2 yrs experience)
• $20 per hour with potential Bonus Opportunities (with little/no experience; we will pay you to train you!)

Position Details:

• Hours/Shift: 2nd Shift (4x10 schedule): 12:30 PM - 11:00 PM; Wednesday through Saturday AND required to work ON-CALL DUTY, some Holidays
• Location: University of Kansas Health System - Olathe Campus, 20333 W 151st St, Olathe, KS 66061

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and on-demand maintenance on hospital facilities and equipment
• Work with a variety of systems including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, and more!
• Ensure hospital systems meet safety codes and regulations

What We’re Looking For:

• Hands-On Experience: You should know your way around mechanical and industrial equipment.
• Flexible Availability: Willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed (with additional pay for on-call shifts).

Requirements:

• Pass a criminal background check
• Pass a drug screen
• Consent to health screenings and any necessary vaccines (e.g., flu, TDAP)
• Hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
