Supply Chain Manager - Manufacturing
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION : The Manufacturing Supply Chain Leader serves as the single point of contact for all aspects of Supply Chain activities. This position will be responsible for establishing an effective, integrated supply chain process and identifying, defining, and implementing improvements across the supply chain. This position will manage and direct all warehouse operations, the supply chain function, customer program management personnel and be the plant process owner for sourcing & material planning, production scheduling and inventory management. This position includes situational analysis, strategy development, guidance, and implementation for the functional disciplines of supply chain development. These strategies should support the individual program needs and be complementary to Vanguard Soap's overall supply chain management goals.
SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS OF POSITION : The Manufacturing Supply Chain Leader plays a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing various facets of the supply chain to ensure operational efficiency, customer satisfaction and cost effectiveness.
