We are seeking a Stock Clerk to support laboratory operations in Albany, NY. This role involves receiving, handling, and delivering lab-related materials and supplies to ensure smooth and efficient laboratory functioning.
This is a full-time position. Monday through Friday hours being, 7 : 30 AM - 3 : 30 PM.
Job Duties :
Operate material-moving equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) to transport supplies and equipment.
Receive and check in shipments, verifying contents and inspecting for damages.
Handle, move, stock, and deliver laboratory supplies, materials, and equipment.
Perform general computer operations, including inventory management and data entry.
Maintain inventory records and ensure supplies are organized and easily accessible.
Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and guidelines.
Requirements :
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to lift and move heavy materials
Basic computer knowledge for inventory tracking and data entry
Ability to check shipments and inventory accurately
Awareness of safety protocols when handling materials and equipment
