Job Description
The Construction Manager is responsible for managing the scope, cost, schedule andoperational interfaces of all design and construction related activities for the program. TheConstruction Manager will be focused on schedule certainty, budget delivery and making sure thatconstruction work meets the required quality standards while enforcing a strong health, safety, andenvironmental culture on the project. The Construction Manager will support thedevelopment and implementation of design, construction, testing, commissioning, turnover plans,impacts to the operations, ensuring that risk mitigation for construction activities are optimized,working and coordinating with stakeholders and ensuring standards are adhered to.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Construction Manager with experience in an operating/active environment
- Management of construction within budget and schedule constraints while maintaining all necessaryscope elements
- Leader in stakeholder engagement to identity, communicate, resolution and accomplishment theirneeds, while preserving the principles and criteria of the project scope, schedule and budgetconstraints
- Knowledge in construction contracting practices and methodologies
- Knowledge and experience in the project construction life cycle from Pre-Construction toestimating/buyout to phasing to implementation to Closeout
- Maintaining an excellent working relationship with the design and construction professionals gearedtowards open communications and mutual problem solving in the best interest of the project and allother parties involved
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or other related field required (Master's degree preferred)
- Optional certifications may include AAAE, LEED, PE, PMP, AICP, etc. or any other relevant professionallicensure and/or certifications
- 10 years or more experience, preferably on airport projects
- Experience with projects more than $50 million in value.
- Experience with various delivery methods, including Design-Bid-Build, Design CMAR and Design/Build
- Proven ability to perform in a management capacity
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and a thorough knowledge of industry practices andregulations
- •Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam
- Ability to work in CAD or REVIT preferred
- May assume other duties as required/needed
- Maybe required to work past regular work shift
- Maybe required to work various shifts as needed
Offered rate of compensation will be based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including education, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. The Salary range for this position is $186,000.00-$199,000.00 .
