What are the responsibilities and job description for the Activity Director - Full Time position at Vannoni Living Center?
Vannoni Living Center is seeking a Full Time Activity Director. This position will work primarily Monday thru Friday between 35-40 hours per week.
Vannoni Living Center is an assisted living facility with up to 49 residents, located on the river in downtown Mishawaka, within Riverview 500, a part of Mishawaka Housing Authority. This position is key to our residents engagement and happiness.
The Activity Director will be responsible for:
- Develop and post monthly activity schedule for Vannoni Living Center residents
- Provide and lead daily activities for residents of Vannoni Living Center
- Encourage interaction/socialization within community
- Provide ‘light’ exercise program for residents
- Work with outside groups and vendors to provide enrichment and services for the residents.
- Must have prior healthcare experience, preferably in a senior living environment.
- Prefer current activities director course certificate or ability to obtain within six (6) months of hire.
