What are the responsibilities and job description for the Qualified Medication Aide QMA Full Time Day Shift position at Vannoni Living Center?
Vannoni Living Center located within the Riverview Building, downtown Mishawaka, is looking for a full time Day Shift Qualified Medication Aide with insulin certification. VLC is a small assisted living facility with a census of typically low acuity residents. This position works from 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. for 3 or 4 shifts per week.
Our nursing team works together collaboratively which allows them to bring their own individual ideas and perspectives. You can truly make a difference in the lives of the people we serve as we are a small and manageable facility, with up to 49 Assisted Living apartments. We bring TRUE Assisted Living services to an active community!
The ideal candidate is organized, friendly, energetic, and can effectively multi-task. Some duties include:
- Assist in maintaining a medication system which adheres to federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and guidelines.
- Work in conjunction with VLC staff on all move-in processes, as needed
- Assists the team in coordinating the care and wellbeing of the residents.
- Assist residents in the activities of daily living.
- Assists in the overall implementation and coordination of resident care services.
- MUST be a QMA
- MUST be insulin certified

Requirement – Indiana QMA License. Insulin Certified or ability to obtain
