Van's Auto Service & Tire Pros has been family owned and operated for over 30 years providing 5-star customer service across multiple locations in Ohio and expanding most recently to New York! As we continue to grow, we are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a deep understanding of Microsoft Excel to support office operations. In this role, you will assist with various office tasks, data management, and document organization while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide general administrative support, including answering phones, scheduling meetings, and managing emails.
- Create, update, and maintain complex Excel spreadsheets for data tracking, analysis, and reporting purposes.
- Organize and maintain office files, both physical and digital, ensuring easy access and compliance with company standards.
- Maintain a positive and professional relationship with clients, vendors, and colleagues.
- Assist the HR department with generalist tasks
- Perform other administrative duties as required
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a related role.
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create complex spreadsheets, use formulas, pivot tables, and generate charts and graphs. (Must be able to pass pre-employment assessment showcasing these skills)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficiency in other office software, such as Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in office administration or related fields are a plus.
