About The Role :
The Archipelago Vice President of Retail will oversee all aspects of our owned retail operations for all of our portfolio brands, currently including OluKai, Melin and Roark retail stores. This includes P&L ownership for retail stores, hiring and team management, store operations, inventory planning, real estate and leasing for new store locations, and design and construction management for new stores. The VP of Retail is part of the executive team and will work cross-functionally to ensure a best-in-class customer experience and achieve ambitious growth goals.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
Retail Store Operations :
- Oversee the performance of all retail store P&Ls and business unit roll up, ensuring revenue and profitability targets are met or exceeded.
- Establish and enforce best practices in store operations (SOPs), customer experience, and employee engagement.
- Optimize inventory planning and management to maximize sales while minimizing inefficiency.

Position Type & Extended Hours of Work :
This is a full-time position in office. Days and hours of work generally are Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 a.m.-5 : 00 p.m. On call as necessary for special events. Any required travel is primarily local during the business day with some exceptions from time to time.
Location & Office Structure : This is an in-office hybrid position, mandatory 4 days per week in office in Irvine, CA with the option to work from home 1 day per week. Subject to change without notice as per company guidelines.
Compensation : The salary range for this position is $180,000 to $220,000 plus opportunity for annual bonus; salary is based on the experience that you bring to the position.
