Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock counts, and optimizing procurement processes. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent data analysis skills, and the ability to implement process improvements that enhance operational efficiency.
Duties
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels to meet demand planning requirements.
- Analyze inventory data to identify material, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Implement process improvements to streamline inventory management practices.
- Operate forklifts and other equipment safely to move products within the yard area as needed.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies. (that will include a physical of material per customer, identifying with full description, & assuring stencil is visible for every piece of pipe, including the location of material)
- Prepare reports on inventory daily.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in inventory management or a related field is preferred.
- Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex information effectively.
- Knowledge of demand planning processes and best practices in inventory control.
- Familiarity with methods related to inventory.
- Experience with process improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency is a plus.
- Forklift certification is desirable; training may be provided for qualified candidates.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
