What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Picker Team Member position at Vantage Apparel?

If you've been to a store that has employees wearing shirts with logos, there is a very good chance that the product or logo decoration was done by Vantage Apparel. We've been the leading innovator in the promotional apparel industry since 1977, and we are looking to hire a Warehouse Picker Team Member that exemplifies the innovation for which Vantage Apparel is known.
The Warehouse Picker Team Member will pick orders and deliver them to the production, and are expected to pick orders for shipment, keeping in mind the quantity and type specified.
The Warehouse Picker Team Member will :
- Perform general physical activities in the warehouse, such as loading, unloading, sorting and moving products and materials manually and using handling equipment.
- Read work orders and receive verbal instructions for work assignments.
- Pull orders and check for accuracy.
- Identify any damages or discrepancies on the order.
- Operate packing system efficiently and accurately.
- Keep stock clean.
- Read orders to determine catalog size, color, and amount of goods.
- Receive pick tickets from warehouse supervisor.
- Maintain a clean work environment.
- Work in accordance with all safety regulations of the warehouse.
