Engineering Leader - Building Automation
New York City (Hybrid: 3 days in office, 2 days remote)

We are a leading building automation company specializing in innovative and high-quality solutions for the most iconic buildings in NYC. We’re currently looking for an Engineering Leader to oversee a team of four engineers, with plans to grow the team to six by the second half of 2025. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a senior leadership role, whether you are a principle-level engineer ready for a shift or a team leader looking for a new challenge.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and mentor a team of 4 engineers, with the opportunity to expand to 6.
- Oversee the execution and performance of automation projects on high-profile buildings.
- Utilize your hands-on experience with Honeywell/Alerton products, or be ready to work with these leading technologies.
- Foster a collaborative and growth-oriented environment, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
- Play a critical role in shaping the future of automation solutions for our growing portfolio of prestigious clients.
What We’re Looking For:
- Hands-on background in either industrial or building automation.
- Strong knowledge of Honeywell/Allerton products, or a willingness to work with them.
- Proven experience in engineering leadership or as a principal engineer ready to transition into a leadership role.
- A track record of managing or leading teams in a technical environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and an eagerness to take on new challenges.
