Senior Building Automation Technician

Waltham, MA (Field Based)

90,000 - $130,000 benefits

A building automation system integrator based in Massachusetts is looking for a Senior Technician to join their service team. In this role you will be the lead technician in an established team supporting customers across Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

  • Service, troubleshooting and commissioning of building automation systems (BAS)
  • Programming and loading of systems and network controllers
  • Reviewing project resource and plans with the senior leadership team
  • Acting in place of the Service Manager when required
  • Mentoring other team members
  • Maintaining key relationships with customers

Requirements

  • 5 years experience installing and servicing building automation systems, direct digital controls or HVAC controls
  • Expertise with Tridium Niagara
  • Understanding of Johnson Controls BAS tools
  • Solid experience with control theory, sequence of operations and general troubleshooting for HVAC
  • Project management prowess - Ability to coordinate other technicians on multiple sites
  • Driver's license
