Telecommunications Sales Strategist


As a strategic sales professional, you will manage the full sales cycle with our VoIP products from prospecting and discovery to closing and account management. By combining product knowledge with consultative selling techniques, you will consistently drive new business while nurturing long-term client relationships.


What You’ll do:

  • Full-Cycle Sales Ownership
    Manage the end-to-end sales process, including cold calling, networking, in-person meetings, and follow-ups to generate a robust sales pipeline and close deals efficiently.
    Impact: Deliver consistent revenue growth by identifying and converting high-value leads into long-term customers.
  • Territory Development & Strategic Outreach
    Craft and execute territory sales and marketing strategies tailored to local markets and vertical-specific needs.
    Impact: Expand market presence and accelerated deal velocity by aligning outreach efforts with customer pain points.
  • Consultative Needs Analysis & Custom Solutions
    Meet with prospective clients on-site to assess organizational needs and recommend tailored telecom solutions, including VoIP, cloud communications, and managed services.
    Impact: Increase client satisfaction and close rates by positioning solutions as directly aligned with business challenges.
  • Proposal Development & Negotiation
    Produce detailed, persuasive proposals and quotes that effectively highlighted product features, capabilities, and ROI. Negotiate pricing and service agreements with SMB clients.
    Impact: Improve win rates and shorten sales cycles through compelling solution-based selling and flexible deal structuring.
  • Client Relationship Management & Retention
    Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers post-sale, creating account management plans and identifying opportunities for upsell and renewal.
    Impact: Strengthen customer loyalty and increase average contract value by building trust and delivering on expectations.
  • Industry Engagement & Brand Promotion
    Regularly attend networking events to promote offerings, build connections, and generate fresh leads through community presence and word-of-mouth.
    Impact: Enhance brand visibility and built a steady pipeline of qualified prospects.


What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2 years selling to SMB
  • A passion for telecommunications and related services (VoIP, SaaS, hosted communications, cloud communications, hosted call/contact center, managed services)
  • Exceptional communication & interpersonal skills,
  • Ability to travel as necessary
